This little man was so cute. He didn’t sleep too well, but I still managed to capture a few sleepy photos to round out the gallery for this Essential session. We went for some natural looking photos and included some simple parent poses in the gallery.
For the majority of the photos, I captured baby on a black background and used Photoshop to incorporate him into some beautiful pre-designed images. These photographs provide so much diversity to the gallery without having to move baby around from prop to prop. It works wonderfully well for a baby who is a little bit unsettled. Not to mention that these backdrops are absolutely gorgeous.
For family images, I photographed Mom and Dad interacting with baby against a big window. This back lighting is simple, but also really beautiful at the same time. I love the thought that their little boy won’t fit in their hands like this for long. I hope that in the years to come, these images provide a reminder of just how little he once was.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the session.
As a side note, you can see this couple’s stunning maternity session images here. They are such a wonderful couple <3 I loved working with them so, so much!
