It’s so hard to believe that we just finished Nora’s 6 month old baby photography session. She’ll always have a special place in my heart as I’ve photographed her from before she was born. She was very happy when she came in (she usually is a very happy baby).
In our studio in Lucina, we were able to photograph a few different sets in the 1/2 hour we had for our session time. Nora had just gotten some teeth, so we definitely wanted to capture that. She also had absolutely mastered sitting and she was even starting to stand. I always marvel at just how quickly my baby planners grow up. I know I’m not the only one.
Since she was a January baby, it’s been really easy to theme the sessions with the seasons. Spring at three months…and now summer for six months. I used lots of green and flowers. I made sure to incorporate some purple since that matched the colour pallet that she has in her nursery. Mom brought along a super cute mint outfit with a little hair bow and the most darling blue romper as well. We did a couple naked(ish) baby shots too, so we could see all her yummy baby rolls.
A couple of nights before, I decided that I’d try my hand at making a flower bonnet. It was a little strange looking at the back. I won’t lie to you. In the front it was really cute though and Nora wore it so well.
In the end, the photographs came out really well. I can’t wait to see this precious baby again in October for some fall themed portraits.
Here are my favorite photos from her session:
