To continue the trend of showing the difference between my Classic (PACKAGE FOUR) and Essential (PACKAGE ONE) Sessions here is a Classic Newborn Photography Session. The session usually results in 25 different photos of the baby.
With newborn sessions, I generally recommend the Classic session if you’d like to include parent and/or sibling images, as well as getting close up shots. I usually recommend leaving around 3 hours for your session. If the baby sleeps really well, an Essential session will take only half of an hour and a Classic session about an hour and a half. It isn’t uncommon for babies to be a bit unsettled, in which case the sessions will be longer.
In this particular newborn session, Dad is in the military, so I went with earthy tones and green in particular. The baby was also photographed with the same cute little booties that were in Mom and Dad’s maternity session. Also, it was important to get a couple of photos that included Dad’s uniform. I think the little monkey toes on the uniform is my favorite. It’s just so sweet!
For family photos, we went with a mixture of black and white and color images. We also included Grandma because she is such a special part of this little family.
These close-up photos of all the sweet little details, like eyelashes, fingers, and toes were done using my macro lens. It captures so much detail. I just love it!
Anyway…without further delay… here’s their Classic Newborn Photography Session Gallery.
